Rain Shadow by Tess Oliver

REVIEWED BY Monique Cashmere

Rain Shadow (Rainshadow #2)Rain Shadow by Tess Oliver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

With Luke's full memory back, he is still in the compound trying to make sure he is not discovered. It doesn't help when Dreygon, the president of the MC and Angel's grandfather, keeps putting Luke/Reno to the test. Even on a rare night out to a bar, Luke is having to stay calm and cautious when they come across members of the rival MC gang that had captured him and Dex. All he wants to do is escape from this world, but he needs to know Angel will accept him when she finds out the whole truth.

Sadly, Aunt Gracie dies but does this make it easier for Angel to leave with Luke or harder? Once they have scattered Aunt Grace's ashes, Luke wants to come clean to Angel but she is not ready to hear it. Will she ever be? Or is she too late, and now things are out of her hands?

Book 2 was just as exciting as the first, if not more so. Luke/Reno is trying his best to protect Angel not only from the rival gang, but her wild and wicked grandfather. They have a great connection, and again it is heated! I loved how we got the backstory of Luke and Dex and their friendship. This book ends well and has you wanting more. I need to know what is next. So that means straight into Book 3 I go!

I was given a copy from the author for an honest review.
