Rain Shadow by Tess Oliver

REVIEWED BY Monique Cashmere

Rain Shadow (Rainshadow #1)Rain Shadow by Tess Oliver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Luke has had better days. He is beaten and left for dead in the desert. He is waiting for the wild animals to finish him off - but he sees an angel, literally. Evangeline, or Angel to her friends and family, is out with her horse Chance. She comes across a man so beaten and near death that he has no idea who he is. She has no option but to bring him back to her family "compound", which happens to be a Motor Cycle Club.
On the way back, the only thing he can remember is that he could be from Reno - so this is what she calls him. He is so relieved to have been lucky enough to have been rescued but it it the right decision? Will he be safe there?

Once they arrive, he is not at all welcome, but they won't let him leave either. He is put through a few tests to see what he is made of and these start to jog his memory. One in particular starts the flood gates and the memories come rushing in. Will he be able to live with his actions? What is Angel going to say when she finds out his true identity? And the what will the MC do?

This book had me hooked from the beginning. Luke is such a strong character and Angel is his perfect match. The moments between these two are Hot! It's not a long book, and you will need to read book 2 for the answers and that is where I am headed now!

I received a copy from the author for an honest review.
